CVE-2025-69195 1 Gnu 1 Wget 2026-01-10 7.6 High
A flaw was found in GNU Wget2. This vulnerability, a stack-based buffer overflow, occurs in the filename sanitization logic when processing attacker-controlled URL paths, particularly when filename restriction options are active. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted URL, which, upon user interaction with wget2, can lead to memory corruption. This can cause the application to crash and potentially allow for further malicious activities.
CVE-2025-64096 1 Nasa 1 Cryptolib 2026-01-09 N/A
CryptoLib provides a software-only solution using the CCSDS Space Data Link Security Protocol - Extended Procedures (SDLS-EP) to secure communications between a spacecraft running the core Flight System (cFS) and a ground station. Prior to 1.4.2, there is a missing bounds check in Crypto_Key_update() (crypto_key_mgmt.c) which allows a remote attacker to trigger a stack-based buffer overflow by supplying a TLV packet with a spoofed length field. The function calculates the number of keys from an attacker-controlled field (pdu_len), which may exceed the static array size (kblk[98]), leading to an out-of-bounds write and potential memory corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.2.
CVE-2026-0719 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-01-09 7.5 High
A flaw was identified in the NTLM authentication handling of the libsoup HTTP library, used by GNOME and other applications for network communication. When processing extremely long passwords, an internal size calculation can overflow due to improper use of signed integers. This results in incorrect memory allocation on the stack, followed by unsafe memory copying. As a result, applications using libsoup may crash unexpectedly, creating a denial-of-service risk.
CVE-2025-20794 2 Mediatek, Mediatk 87 Mt2735, Mt2737, Mt6813 and 84 more 2026-01-08 7.5 High
In Modem, there is a possible system crash due to improper input validation. This could lead to remote denial of service, if a UE has connected to a rogue base station controlled by the attacker, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01689259 / MOLY01586470; Issue ID: MSV-4847.
CVE-2025-20797 2 Google, Mediatek 35 Android, Mt2718, Mt6765 and 32 more 2026-01-08 7.8 High
In battery, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS10315812; Issue ID: MSV-5534.
CVE-2026-22189 1 Panda3d 1 Panda3d 2026-01-08 N/A
Panda3D versions up to and including 1.10.16 egg-mkfont contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability due to use of an unbounded sprintf() call with attacker-controlled input. When constructing glyph filenames, egg-mkfont formats a user-supplied glyph pattern (-gp) into a fixed-size stack buffer without length validation. Supplying an excessively long glyph pattern string can overflow the stack buffer, resulting in memory corruption and a deterministic crash. Depending on build configuration and execution environment, the overflow may also be exploitable for arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2025-65805 1 Openairinterface 1 Cn5g Amf 2026-01-08 7.5 High
OpenAirInterface CN5G AMF<=v2.1.9 has a buffer overflow vulnerability in processing NAS messages. Unauthorized remote attackers can launch a denial-of-service attack and potentially execute malicious code by accessing port N1 and sending an imsi string longer than 1000 to AMF.
CVE-2025-46398 2 Fig2dev Project, Redhat 2 Fig2dev, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-08 5.5 Medium
In xfig diagramming tool, a stack-overflow while running fig2dev allows memory corruption via local input manipulation via read_objects function.
CVE-2024-36600 1 Gnu 1 Libcdio 2026-01-07 8.4 High
Buffer Overflow Vulnerability in libcdio in commit 4c840665 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted ISO 9660 image file.
CVE-2025-15164 1 Tenda 2 Wh450, Wh450 Firmware 2026-01-07 7.2 High
A security flaw has been discovered in Tenda WH450 1.0.0.18. This affects an unknown part of the file /goform/SafeMacFilter. The manipulation of the argument page results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been released to the public and may be exploited.
CVE-2025-14423 1 Gimp 1 Gimp 2026-01-07 7.8 High
GIMP LBM File Parsing Stack-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GIMP. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of LBM files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-28311.
CVE-2025-15273 1 Fontforge 1 Fontforge 2026-01-07 8.8 High
FontForge PFB File Parsing Stack-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of FontForge. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of PFB files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-28546.
CVE-2025-15155 1 Floooh 1 Sokol 2026-01-06 5.3 Medium
A vulnerability was detected in floooh sokol up to 16cbcc864012898793cd2bc57f802499a264ea40. The impacted element is the function _sg_pipeline_desc_defaults in the library sokol_gfx.h. The manipulation results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack requires a local approach. The exploit is now public and may be used. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable. The patch is identified as 5d11344150973f15e16d3ec4ee7550a73fb995e0. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue.

CVE-2024-46774 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-05 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/rtas: Prevent Spectre v1 gadget construction in sys_rtas() Smatch warns: arch/powerpc/kernel/rtas.c:1932 __do_sys_rtas() warn: potential spectre issue 'args.args' [r] (local cap) The 'nargs' and 'nret' locals come directly from a user-supplied buffer and are used as indexes into a small stack-based array and as inputs to copy_to_user() after they are subject to bounds checks. Use array_index_nospec() after the bounds checks to clamp these values for speculative execution.
CVE-2024-40902 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-01-05 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: xattr: fix buffer overflow for invalid xattr When an xattr size is not what is expected, it is printed out to the kernel log in hex format as a form of debugging. But when that xattr size is bigger than the expected size, printing it out can cause an access off the end of the buffer. Fix this all up by properly restricting the size of the debug hex dump in the kernel log.
