| Microsoft WordPad Information Disclosure Vulnerability |
| A vulnerability in the health check RPM of Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access the Redis instance that is running within the NOSi container. This vulnerability exists because the health check RPM opens TCP port 6379 by default upon activation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the Redis instance on the open port. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to write to the Redis in-memory database, write arbitrary files to the container filesystem, and retrieve information about the Redis database. Given the configuration of the sandboxed container that the Redis instance runs in, a remote attacker would be unable to execute remote code or abuse the integrity of the Cisco IOS XR Software host system. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business RV320 and RV325 Dual Gigabit WAN VPN Routers could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with administrative privileges on an affected device to execute arbitrary commands. The vulnerability is due to improper validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious HTTP POST requests to the web-based management interface of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying Linux shell as root. Cisco has released firmware updates that address this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in the web server for Cisco IP Phones could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute code with root privileges or cause a reload of an affected IP phone, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a lack of proper input validation of HTTP requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the web server of a targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to remotely execute code with root privileges or cause a reload of an affected IP phone, resulting in a DoS condition. |
| A vulnerability in the web services interface of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to retrieve memory contents on an affected device, which could lead to the disclosure of confidential information. The vulnerability is due to a buffer tracking issue when the software parses invalid URLs that are requested from the web services interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted GET request to the web services interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to retrieve memory contents, which could lead to the disclosure of confidential information. Note: This vulnerability affects only specific AnyConnect and WebVPN configurations. For more information, see the Vulnerable Products section. |
| A vulnerability in the web services interface of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct directory traversal attacks and read sensitive files on a targeted system. The vulnerability is due to a lack of proper input validation of URLs in HTTP requests processed by an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request containing directory traversal character sequences to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to view arbitrary files within the web services file system on the targeted device. The web services file system is enabled when the affected device is configured with either WebVPN or AnyConnect features. This vulnerability cannot be used to obtain access to ASA or FTD system files or underlying operating system (OS) files. |
| A command injection vulnerability exists in LILIN Digital Video Recorder (DVR) devices prior to firmware version 2.0b60_20200207 via the Server field in the NTPUpdate configuration. The web service at /z/zbin/dvr_box fails to properly sanitize input, allowing remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary commands as root by supplying specially crafted XML data to the DVRPOST interface. |
| An Insertion of Sensitive Information into Sent Data vulnerability in the Ideal Postcodes UK Address Postcode Validation WordPress plugin exposes the API key, allowing unauthorized third parties to retrieve and reuse the key across any domain. Since API keys are unrestricted by default, with the “Allowed URLs” field left empty upon creation of API key this can lead to unauthorized use and depletion of API credits.Note: the vulnerability is assessed based on the default configuration.This issue affects UK Address Postcode Validation: from n/a through 3.9.2. |
| Memory corruption due to improper check to return error when user application requests memory allocation of a huge size in Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Connectivity, Snapdragon Consumer IOT, Snapdragon Industrial IOT, Snapdragon Mobile, Snapdragon Voice & Music, Snapdragon Wearables |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
driver core: class: Fix wild pointer dereferences in API class_dev_iter_next()
There are a potential wild pointer dereferences issue regarding APIs
class_dev_iter_(init|next|exit)(), as explained by below typical usage:
// All members of @iter are wild pointers.
struct class_dev_iter iter;
// class_dev_iter_init(@iter, @class, ...) checks parameter @class for
// potential class_to_subsys() error, and it returns void type and does
// not initialize its output parameter @iter, so caller can not detect
// the error and continues to invoke class_dev_iter_next(@iter) even if
// @iter still contains wild pointers.
class_dev_iter_init(&iter, ...);
// Dereference these wild pointers in @iter here once suffer the error.
while (dev = class_dev_iter_next(&iter)) { ... };
// Also dereference these wild pointers here.
class_dev_iter_exit(&iter);
Actually, all callers of these APIs have such usage pattern in kernel tree.
Fix by:
- Initialize output parameter @iter by memset() in class_dev_iter_init()
and give callers prompt by pr_crit() for the error.
- Check if @iter is valid in class_dev_iter_next(). |
| Emoncms 11.7.3 has a remote code execution vulnerability in the firmware upload feature that allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands on the target system. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input validation of user-controlled parameters including filename, port, baud_rate, core, and autoreset within the /admin/upload-custom-firmware endpoint. |
| A flaw has been found in Tomofun Furbo 360 and Furbo Mini. This issue affects some unknown processing of the component GATT Service. This manipulation of the argument DeviceToken causes information disclosure. The attack is only possible within the local network. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is assessed as difficult. The firmware versions determined to be affected are Furbo 360 up to FB0035_FW_036 and Furbo Mini up to MC0020_FW_074. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
