CVSS v3.1 |
| There are buffer overflow vulnerabilities in the underlying CLI service that could lead to unauthenticated remote code execution by sending specially crafted packets destined to the PAPI (Aruba's access point management protocol) UDP port (8211). Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities result in the ability to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system.

| A vulnerability has been identified in Parasolid V35.0 (All versions < V35.0.262), Parasolid V35.1 (All versions < V35.1.250), Parasolid V36.0 (All versions < V36.0.169), Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 (All versions < V2201.0009), Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2302 (All versions < V2302.0003). The affected applications contain a stack overflow vulnerability while parsing specially crafted IGS files. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. | Netis N3Mv2-V1.0.1.865 was discovered to contain a buffer overflow via the pingWdogIp. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input. |
| Netis N3Mv2-V1.0.1.865 was discovered to contain a buffer overflow via the servDomain parameter. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input. |
| Netis N3Mv2-V1.0.1.865 was discovered to contain a buffer overflow via the hostName parameter in the FUN_0040dabc function. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input. |
| Mbed TLS 3.2.x through 3.4.x before 3.5 has a Buffer Overflow that can lead to remote Code execution. |
| A memory leakage vulnerability was reported in the NvmramSmm SMM driver that may allow a local attacker with elevated privileges to write to NVRAM variables.
|
| A memory leakage vulnerability was reported in the DustFilterAlertSmm SMM driver that may allow a local attacker with elevated privileges to write to NVRAM variables. |
| A memory leakage vulnerability was reported in the 534D0740 DXE driver that may allow a local attacker with elevated privileges to write to NVRAM variables. |
| A memory leakage vulnerability was reported in the 534D0140 DXE driver that may allow a local attacker with elevated privileges to write to NVRAM variables.

| A memory leakage vulnerability was reported in the SWSMI_Shadow DXE driver that may allow a local attacker with elevated privileges to write to NVRAM variables. |
| A buffer copy without checking size of input vulnerability has been reported to affect several QNAP operating system versions. If exploited, the vulnerability could allow authenticated administrators to execute code via a network.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions:
QTS 5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later
QuTS hero h5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later
