CVE-2024-39292 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-04 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: um: Add winch to winch_handlers before registering winch IRQ Registering a winch IRQ is racy, an interrupt may occur before the winch is added to the winch_handlers list. If that happens, register_winch_irq() adds to that list a winch that is scheduled to be (or has already been) freed, causing a panic later in winch_cleanup(). Avoid the race by adding the winch to the winch_handlers list before registering the IRQ, and rolling back if um_request_irq() fails.
CVE-2024-38634 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-04 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: max3100: Lock port->lock when calling uart_handle_cts_change() uart_handle_cts_change() has to be called with port lock taken, Since we run it in a separate work, the lock may not be taken at the time of running. Make sure that it's taken by explicitly doing that. Without it we got a splat: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 10 at drivers/tty/serial/serial_core.c:3491 uart_handle_cts_change+0xa6/0xb0 ... CVE-2024-38627 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-11-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: stm class: Fix a double free in stm_register_device() The put_device(&stm->dev) call will trigger stm_device_release() which frees "stm" so the vfree(stm) on the next line is a double free.
CVE-2024-38612 1 Linux 2 Acrn, Linux Kernel 2025-11-04 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: sr: fix invalid unregister error path The error path of seg6_init() is wrong in case CONFIG_IPV6_SEG6_LWTUNNEL is not defined. In that case if seg6_hmac_init() fails, the genl_unregister_family() isn't called. This issue exist since commit 46738b1317e1 ("ipv6: sr: add option to control lwtunnel support"), and commit 5559cea2d5aa ("ipv6: sr: fix possible use-after-free and null-ptr-deref") replaced unregister_pernet_subsys() with genl_unregister_family() in this error path.
CVE-2024-38583 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix use-after-free of timer for log writer thread Patch series "nilfs2: fix log writer related issues". This bug fix series covers three nilfs2 log writer-related issues, including a timer use-after-free issue and potential deadlock issue on unmount, and a potential freeze issue in event synchronization found during their analysis. Details are described in each commit log. This patch (of 3): A use-after-free issue has been reported regarding the timer sc_timer on the nilfs_sc_info structure. The problem is that even though it is used to wake up a sleeping log writer thread, sc_timer is not shut down until the nilfs_sc_info structure is about to be freed, and is used regardless of the thread's lifetime. Fix this issue by limiting the use of sc_timer only while the log writer thread is alive.
CVE-2024-31578 2 Fedoraproject, Ffmpeg 2 Fedora, Ffmpeg 2025-11-04 7.5 High
FFmpeg version n6.1.1 was discovered to contain a heap use-after-free via the av_hwframe_ctx_init function.
CVE-2024-26983 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bootconfig: use memblock_free_late to free xbc memory to buddy On the time to free xbc memory in xbc_exit(), memblock may has handed over memory to buddy allocator. So it doesn't make sense to free memory back to memblock. memblock_free() called by xbc_exit() even causes UAF bugs on architectures with CONFIG_ARCH_KEEP_MEMBLOCK disabled like x86. Following KASAN logs shows this case. This patch fixes the xbc memory free problem by calling memblock_free() in early xbc init error rewind path and calling memblock_free_late() in xbc exit path to free memory to buddy allocator. CVE-2024-25938 3 Apple, Foxit, Microsoft 5 Macos, Pdf Editor, Pdf Reader and 2 more 2025-11-04 8.8 High
A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the way Foxit Reader 2024.1.0.23997 handles a Barcode widget. A specially crafted JavaScript code inside a malicious PDF document can trigger reuse of a previously freed object, which can lead to memory corruption and result in arbitrary code execution. An attacker needs to trick the user into opening the malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. Exploitation is also possible if a user visits a specially crafted, malicious site if the browser plugin extension is enabled.
CVE-2023-49606 2 Tinyproxy, Tinyproxy Project 2 Tinyproxy, Tinyproxy 2025-11-04 9.8 Critical
A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the HTTP Connection Headers parsing in Tinyproxy 1.11.1 and Tinyproxy 1.10.0. A specially crafted HTTP header can trigger reuse of previously freed memory, which leads to memory corruption and could lead to remote code execution. An attacker needs to make an unauthenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2025-37765 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-11-04 5.5 Medium

The reference count is 0, so the dma_buf is destroyed, which in turn decrements the corresponding amdgpu_bo reference count to 0, and the amdgpu_bo is destroyed - calling drm_gem_object_release then dma_resv_fini (which destroys the reservation object), then finally freeing the amdgpu_bo. - nouveau_bo obj->bo.base.resv is now a dangling pointer to the memory formerly allocated to the amdgpu_bo. - nouveau_gem_object_del calls ttm_bo_put(&nvbo->bo) which calls ttm_bo_release, which schedules ttm_bo_delayed_delete. - ttm_bo_delayed_delete runs and dereferences the dangling resv pointer, resulting in a general protection fault. Fix this by moving the drm_prime_gem_destroy call from nouveau_gem_object_del to nouveau_bo_del_ttm. This ensures that it will be run after ttm_bo_delayed_delete.
CVE-2024-8384 2 Mozilla, Redhat 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2025-11-04 9.8 Critical
The JavaScript garbage collector could mis-color cross-compartment objects if OOM conditions were detected at the right point between two passes. This could have led to memory corruption. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 130, Firefox ESR < 128.2, Firefox ESR < 115.15, Thunderbird < 128.2, and Thunderbird < 115.15.
CVE-2024-45063 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2025-11-04 9.8 Critical
The function ctl_write_buffer incorrectly set a flag which resulted in a kernel Use-After-Free when a command finished processing. Malicious software running in a guest VM that exposes virtio_scsi can exploit the vulnerabilities to achieve code execution on the host in the bhyve userspace process, which typically runs as root. Note that bhyve runs in a Capsicum sandbox, so malicious code is constrained by the capabilities available to the bhyve process. A malicious iSCSI initiator could achieve remote code execution on the iSCSI target host.
CVE-2024-41957 1 Vim 1 Vim 2025-11-04 4.5 Medium
Vim is an open source command line text editor. Vim < v9.1.0647 has double free in src/alloc.c:616. When closing a window, the corresponding tagstack data will be cleared and freed. However a bit later, the quickfix list belonging to that window will also be cleared and if that quickfix list points to the same tagstack data, Vim will try to free it again, resulting in a double-free/use-after-free access exception. Impact is low since the user must intentionally execute vim with several non-default flags, but it may cause a crash of Vim. The issue has been fixed as of Vim patch v9.1.0647
CVE-2022-23608 4 Asterisk, Debian, Sangoma and 1 more 4 Certified Asterisk, Debian Linux, Asterisk and 1 more 2025-11-04 8.1 High
PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. In versions up to and including 2.11.1 when in a dialog set (or forking) scenario, a hash key shared by multiple UAC dialogs can potentially be prematurely freed when one of the dialogs is destroyed . The issue may cause a dialog set to be registered in the hash table multiple times (with different hash keys) leading to undefined behavior such as dialog list collision which eventually leading to endless loop. A patch is available in commit db3235953baa56d2fb0e276ca510fefca751643f which will be included in the next release. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2021-43400 2 Bluez, Debian 2 Bluez, Debian Linux 2025-11-04 9.1 Critical
An issue was discovered in gatt-database.c in BlueZ 5.61. A use-after-free can occur when a client disconnects during D-Bus processing of a WriteValue call.
