CVSS v3.1 |
When linking a Nessus scanner or agent to Tenable.io or other manager, Nessus 6.x before 6.11 does not verify the manager's TLS certificate when making the initial outgoing connection. This could allow man-in-the-middle attacks.
A vulnerability in the Cisco Network Plug and Play application of Cisco IOS 12.4 through 15.6 and Cisco IOS XE 3.3 through 16.4 could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data by using an invalid certificate. The vulnerability is due to insufficient certificate validation by the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by supplying a crafted certificate to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to conduct man-in-the-middle attacks to decrypt confidential information on user connections to the affected software. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvc33171.
Akeo Consulting Rufus prior to version 2.17.1187 does not adequately validate the integrity of updates downloaded over HTTP, allowing an attacker to easily convince a user to execute arbitrary code
When libvirtd is configured by OSP director (tripleo-heat-templates) to use the TLS transport it defaults to the same certificate authority as all non-libvirtd services. As no additional authentication is configured this allows these services to connect to libvirtd (which is equivalent to root access). If a vulnerability exists in another service it could, combined with this flaw, be exploited to escalate privileges to gain control over compute nodes.
GitLab 9.4.x before 9.4.2 does not support LDAP SSL certificate verification, but a verify_certificates LDAP option was mentioned in the 9.4 release announcement. This issue occurred because code was not merged. This is related to use of the omniauth-ldap library and the gitlab_omniauth-ldap gem.
The Net::LDAP (aka net-ldap) gem before 0.16.0 for Ruby has Missing SSL Certificate Validation.
The Access CX App for Android prior to 2.0.0.1 and for iOS prior to 2.0.2 does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.3.2 is affected. The issue involves the "Security" component. It allows attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via an untrusted certificate.
Flash Seats Mobile App for Android version 1.7.9 and earlier and for iOS version 1.9.51 and earlier fails to properly validate SSL certificates provided by HTTPS connections, which may enable an attacker to conduct man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks.
D-Link DIR-130 firmware version 1.23 and DIR-330 firmware version 1.12 are vulnerable to authentication bypass of the remote login page. A remote attacker that can access the remote management login page can manipulate the POST request in such a manner as to access some administrator-only pages such as tools_admin.asp without credentials.
Pandora iOS app prior to version 8.3.2 fails to properly validate SSL certificates provided by HTTPS connections, which may enable an attacker to conduct man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks.
The Space Coast Credit Union Mobile app 2.2 for iOS and 2.1.0.1104 for Android does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
The Think Mutual Bank Mobile Banking app 3.1.5 for iOS does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
Samsung Magician 5.0 fails to validate TLS certificates for HTTPS software update traffic. Prior to version 5.0, Samsung Magician uses HTTP for software updates.
Vulnerability in the Oracle VM VirtualBox component of Oracle Virtualization (subcomponent: Core). Supported versions that are affected are Prior to 5.0.38 and Prior to 5.1.20. Easily "exploitable" vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle VM VirtualBox executes to compromise Oracle VM VirtualBox. While the vulnerability is in Oracle VM VirtualBox, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle VM VirtualBox. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H).
WebSocket.swift in Starscream before 2.0.4 allows an SSL Pinning bypass because pinning occurs in the stream function (this is too late; pinning should occur in the initStreamsWithData function).
The State Bank of India State Bank Anywhere app 5.1.0 for iOS does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
The PayQuicker app 1.0.0 for iOS does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
The Dollar Bank Mobile app 2.6.3 for iOS does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
The Everyday Health Diabetes in Check: Blood Glucose & Carb Tracker app 3.4.2 for iOS does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
