CVE-2024-42290 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/imx-irqsteer: Handle runtime power management correctly The power domain is automatically activated from clk_prepare(). However, on certain platforms like i.MX8QM and i.MX8QXP, the power-on handling invokes sleeping functions, which triggers the 'scheduling while atomic' bug in the context switch path during device probing: BUG: scheduling while atomic: kworker/u13:1/48/0x00000002 Call trace: __schedule_bug+0x54/0x6c __schedule+0x7f0/0xa94 schedule+0x5c/0xc4 schedule_preempt_disabled+0x24/0x40 __mutex_lock.constprop.0+0x2c0/0x540 __mutex_lock_slowpath+0x14/0x20 mutex_lock+0x48/0x54 clk_prepare_lock+0x44/0xa0 clk_prepare+0x20/0x44 imx_irqsteer_resume+0x28/0xe0 pm_generic_runtime_resume+0x2c/0x44 __genpd_runtime_resume+0x30/0x80 genpd_runtime_resume+0xc8/0x2c0 __rpm_callback+0x48/0x1d8 rpm_callback+0x6c/0x78 rpm_resume+0x490/0x6b4 __pm_runtime_resume+0x50/0x94 irq_chip_pm_get+0x2c/0xa0 __irq_do_set_handler+0x178/0x24c irq_set_chained_handler_and_data+0x60/0xa4 mxc_gpio_probe+0x160/0x4b0 Cure this by implementing the irq_bus_lock/sync_unlock() interrupt chip callbacks and handle power management in them as they are invoked from non-atomic context. CVE-2024-42284 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-11-03 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: Return non-zero value from tipc_udp_addr2str() on error tipc_udp_addr2str() should return non-zero value if the UDP media address is invalid. Otherwise, a buffer overflow access can occur in tipc_media_addr_printf(). Fix this by returning 1 on an invalid UDP media address.
CVE-2023-2906 1 Wireshark 1 Wireshark 2025-11-03 6.5 Medium
Due to a failure in validating the length provided by an attacker-crafted CP2179 packet, Wireshark versions 2.0.0 through 4.0.7 is susceptible to a divide by zero allowing for a denial of service attack.
CVE-2023-23904 1 Ieisystem 1 Uefi Firmware 2025-11-03 6.1 Medium
NULL pointer dereference in the UEFI firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
CVE-2010-4756 1 Gnu 1 Glibc 2025-11-03 N/A
The glob implementation in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (CPU and memory consumption) via crafted glob expressions that do not match any pathnames, as demonstrated by glob expressions in STAT commands to an FTP daemon, a different vulnerability than CVE-2010-2632.
CVE-2024-56723 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mfd: intel_soc_pmic_bxtwc: Use IRQ domain for PMIC devices While design wise the idea of converting the driver to use the hierarchy of the IRQ chips is correct, the implementation has (inherited) flaws. This was unveiled when platform_get_irq() had started WARN() on IRQ 0 that is supposed to be a Linux IRQ number (also known as vIRQ). Rework the driver to respect IRQ domain when creating each MFD device separately, as the domain is not the same for all of them.
CVE-2025-32414 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 2 Enterprise Linux, Libxml2 2025-11-03 5.6 Medium
In libxml2 before 2.13.8 and 2.14.x before 2.14.2, out-of-bounds memory access can occur in the Python API (Python bindings) because of an incorrect return value. This occurs in xmlPythonFileRead and xmlPythonFileReadRaw because of a difference between bytes and characters.
CVE-2025-21848 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfp: bpf: Add check for nfp_app_ctrl_msg_alloc() Add check for the return value of nfp_app_ctrl_msg_alloc() in nfp_bpf_cmsg_alloc() to prevent null pointer dereference.
CVE-2024-58068 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: OPP: fix dev_pm_opp_find_bw_*() when bandwidth table not initialized If a driver calls dev_pm_opp_find_bw_ceil/floor() the retrieve bandwidth from the OPP table but the bandwidth table was not created because the interconnect properties were missing in the OPP consumer node, the kernel will crash with: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000004 ... pc : _read_bw+0x8/0x10 lr : _opp_table_find_key+0x9c/0x174 ... Call trace: _read_bw+0x8/0x10 (P) _opp_table_find_key+0x9c/0x174 (L) _find_key+0x98/0x168 dev_pm_opp_find_bw_ceil+0x50/0x88 ... In order to fix the crash, create an assert function to check if the bandwidth table was created before trying to get a bandwidth with _read_bw().
CVE-2024-40945 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu: Return right value in iommu_sva_bind_device() iommu_sva_bind_device() should return either a sva bond handle or an ERR_PTR value in error cases. Existing drivers (idxd and uacce) only check the return value with IS_ERR(). This could potentially lead to a kernel NULL pointer dereference issue if the function returns NULL instead of an error pointer. In reality, this doesn't cause any problems because iommu_sva_bind_device() only returns NULL when the kernel is not configured with CONFIG_IOMMU_SVA. In this case, iommu_dev_enable_feature(dev, IOMMU_DEV_FEAT_SVA) will return an error, and the device drivers won't call iommu_sva_bind_device() at all.
CVE-2025-22016 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dpll: fix xa_alloc_cyclic() error handling In case of returning 1 from xa_alloc_cyclic() (wrapping) ERR_PTR(1) will be returned, which will cause IS_ERR() to be false. Which can lead to dereference not allocated pointer (pin). Fix it by checking if err is lower than zero. This wasn't found in real usecase, only noticed. Credit to Pierre.
CVE-2025-22017 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: devlink: fix xa_alloc_cyclic() error handling In case of returning 1 from xa_alloc_cyclic() (wrapping) ERR_PTR(1) will be returned, which will cause IS_ERR() to be false. Which can lead to dereference not allocated pointer (rel). Fix it by checking if err is lower than zero. This wasn't found in real usecase, only noticed. Credit to Pierre.
CVE-2013-3893 1 Microsoft 1 Internet Explorer 2025-10-22 8.8 High
Use-after-free vulnerability in the SetMouseCapture implementation in mshtml.dll in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 through 11 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted JavaScript strings, as demonstrated by use of an ms-help: URL that triggers loading of hxds.dll.
CVE-2017-6627 1 Cisco 2 Ios, Ios Xe 2025-10-22 7.5 High
A vulnerability in the UDP processing code of Cisco IOS 15.1, 15.2, and 15.4 and IOS XE 3.14 through 3.18 could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the input queue of an affected system to hold UDP packets, causing an interface queue wedge and a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to Cisco IOS Software application changes that create UDP sockets and leave the sockets idle without closing them. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending UDP packets with a destination port of 0 to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause UDP packets to be held in the input interfaces queue, resulting in a DoS condition. The input interface queue will stop holding UDP packets when it receives 250 packets. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCup10024, CSCva55744, CSCva95506.
CVE-2009-4448 1 Mybb 1 Mybb 2025-09-26 N/A
inc/functions_time.php in MyBB (aka MyBulletinBoard) 1.4.10, and possibly earlier versions, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a crafted request with a large year value, which triggers a long loop, as reachable through member.php and possibly other vectors.

Looking at the backtrace, the illegal instruction is encountered in this same function. However, patch_text_nosync, after patching the instructions, calls flush_icache_range. But looking at what happens in this function: flush_icache_range -> flush_icache_all -> sbi_remote_fence_i -> __sbi_rfence_v02 -> riscv_cpuid_to_hartid_mask The icache and dcache of the current cpu are never synchronized between the patching of riscv_cpuid_to_hartid_mask and calling this same function. So fix this by flushing the current cpu's icache before asking for the other cpus to do the same.
