CVE-2025-58173 1 Freshrss 1 Freshrss 2026-01-07 8.8 High
FreshRSS is a self-hosted RSS feed aggregator. In versions 1.23.0 through 1.27.0, using a path traversal inside the `language` user configuration parameter, it's possible to call `install.php` and perform various administrative actions as an unprivileged user. These actions include logging in as the admin, creating a new admin user, or set the database to an attacker-controlled MySQL server and abuse it to execute code in FreshRSS by setting malicious feed `curl_params` inside the `feed` table. Version 1.27.1 fixes the issue.
CVE-2025-66449 1 C4illin 1 Convertx 2026-01-07 8.8 High
ConvertXis a self-hosted online file converter. In versions prior to 0.16.0, the endpoint `/upload` allows an authenticated user to write arbitrary files on the system, overwriting binaries and allowing code execution. The upload function takes `file.name` directly from user supplied data without doing any sanitization on the name thus allowing for arbitrary file write. This can be used to overwrite system binaries with ones provided from an attacker allowing full code execution. Version 0.16.0 contains a patch for the issue.
CVE-2025-12972 2 Fluentbit, Treasuredata 2 Fluent Bit, Fluent Bit 2026-01-07 5.3 Medium
Fluent Bit out_file plugin does not properly sanitize tag values when deriving output file names. When the File option is omitted, the plugin uses untrusted tag input to construct file paths. This allows attackers with network access to craft tags containing path traversal sequences that cause Fluent Bit to write files outside the intended output directory.
CVE-2025-40898 2 Nozomi Networks, Nozominetworks 4 Cmc, Guardian, Cmc and 1 more 2026-01-06 8.1 High
A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in the Import Arc data archive functionality due to insufficient validation of the input file. An authenticated user with limited privileges, by uploading a specifically-crafted Arc data archive, can potentially write arbitrary files in arbitrary paths, altering the device configuration and/or affecting its availability.

Home Assistant Core before v2025.8.0 is vulnerable to Directory Traversal. The Downloader integration does not fully validate file paths during concatenation, leaving a path traversal vulnerability.
CVE-2023-5123 1 Grafana 1 Json Api Data Source 2026-01-06 8 High
The JSON datasource plugin ( https://grafana.com/grafana/plugins/marcusolsson-json-datasource/ ) is a Grafana Labs maintained plugin for Grafana that allows for retrieving and processing JSON data from a remote endpoint (including a specific sub-path) configured by an administrator. Due to inadequate sanitization of the dashboard-supplied path parameter, it was possible to include path traversal characters (../) in the path parameter and send requests to paths on the configured endpoint outside the configured sub-path. This means that if the datasource was configured by an administrator to point at some sub-path of a domain (e.g. https://example.com/api/some_safe_api/ ), it was possible for an editor to create a dashboard referencing the datasource which issues queries containing path traversal characters, which would in turn cause the datasource to instead query arbitrary subpaths on the configured domain (e.g. https://example.com/api/admin_api/) . In the rare case that this plugin is configured by an administrator to point back at the Grafana instance itself, this vulnerability becomes considerably more severe, as an administrator browsing a maliciously configured panel could be compelled to make requests to Grafana administrative API endpoints with their credentials, resulting in the potential for privilege escalation, hence the high score for this vulnerability.
CVE-2025-66905 1 Takes 1 Tkfiles 2026-01-06 7.5 High
The Takes web framework's TkFiles take thru 2.0-SNAPSHOT fails to canonicalize HTTP request paths before resolving them against the filesystem. A remote attacker can include ../ sequences in the request path to escape the configured base directory and read arbitrary files from the host system.

CVE-2024-32465 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Git and 2 more 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Git and 3 more 2026-01-05 7.4 High
Git is a revision control system. The Git project recommends to avoid working in untrusted repositories, and instead to clone it first with `git clone --no-local` to obtain a clean copy. Git has specific protections to make that a safe operation even with an untrusted source repository, but vulnerabilities allow those protections to be bypassed. In the context of cloning local repositories owned by other users, this vulnerability has been covered in CVE-2024-32004. But there are circumstances where the fixes for CVE-2024-32004 are not enough: For example, when obtaining a `.zip` file containing a full copy of a Git repository, it should not be trusted by default to be safe, as e.g. hooks could be configured to run within the context of that repository. The problem has been patched in versions 2.45.1, 2.44.1, 2.43.4, 2.42.2, 2.41.1, 2.40.2, and 2.39.4. As a workaround, avoid using Git in repositories that have been obtained via archives from untrusted sources.
