CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
exfat: fix overflow for large capacity partition
Using int type for sector index, there will be overflow in a large
capacity partition.
For example, if storage with sector size of 512 bytes and partition
capacity is larger than 2TB, there will be overflow. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: vlan: fix underflow for the real_dev refcnt
Inject error before dev_hold(real_dev) in register_vlan_dev(),
and execute the following testcase:
ip link add dev dummy1 type dummy
ip link add name dummy1.100 link dummy1 type vlan id 100
ip link del dev dummy1
When the dummy netdevice is removed, we will get a WARNING as following:
=======================================================================
refcount_t: decrement hit 0; leaking memory.
WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 0 at lib/refcount.c:31 refcount_warn_saturate+0xbf/0x1e0
and an endless loop of:
=======================================================================
unregister_netdevice: waiting for dummy1 to become free. Usage count = -1073741824
That is because dev_put(real_dev) in vlan_dev_free() be called without
dev_hold(real_dev) in register_vlan_dev(). It makes the refcnt of real_dev
underflow.
Move the dev_hold(real_dev) to vlan_dev_init() which is the call-back of
ndo_init(). That makes dev_hold() and dev_put() for vlan's real_dev
symmetrical. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: qla2xxx: Fix off by one in qla_edif_app_getstats()
The app_reply->elem[] array is allocated earlier in this function and it
has app_req.num_ports elements. Thus this > comparison needs to be >= to
prevent memory corruption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_tables: fix nft_counters_enabled underflow at nf_tables_addchain()
syzbot is reporting underflow of nft_counters_enabled counter at
nf_tables_addchain() [1], for commit 43eb8949cfdffa76 ("netfilter:
nf_tables: do not leave chain stats enabled on error") missed that
nf_tables_chain_destroy() after nft_basechain_init() in the error path of
nf_tables_addchain() decrements the counter because nft_basechain_init()
makes nft_is_base_chain() return true by setting NFT_CHAIN_BASE flag.
Increment the counter immediately after returning from
nft_basechain_init(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Check bloom filter map value size
This patch adds a missing check to bloom filter creating, rejecting
values above KMALLOC_MAX_SIZE. This brings the bloom map in line with
many other map types.
The lack of this protection can cause kernel crashes for value sizes
that overflow int's. Such a crash was caught by syzkaller. The next
patch adds more guard-rails at a lower level. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
block: fix overflow in blk_ioctl_discard()
There is no check for overflow of 'start + len' in blk_ioctl_discard().
Hung task occurs if submit an discard ioctl with the following param:
start = 0x80000000000ff000, len = 0x8000000000fff000;
Add the overflow validation now. |

| Substance3D - Modeler versions 1.22.2 and earlier are affected by an Integer Overflow or Wraparound vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is unchanged. |

| A vulnerability (CVE-2025-21172) exists in msdia140.dll due to integer overflow and heap-based overflow.
Per CWE-122: Heap-based Buffer Overflow, a heap overflow condition is a buffer overflow, where the buffer that can be overwritten is allocated in the heap portion of memory, generally meaning that the buffer was allocated using a routine such as malloc().
Per CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound, is when a product performs a calculation that can produce an integer overflow or wraparound when the logic assumes that the resulting value will always be larger than the original value. This occurs when an integer value is incremented to a value that is too large to store in the associated representation. When this occurs, the value may become a very small or negative number.
NOTE: This CVE affects only End Of Life (EOL) software components. The vendor, Microsoft, has indicated there will be no future updates nor support provided upon inquiry. |

Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |

| BSON::XS versions 0.8.4 and earlier for Perl includes a bundled libbson 1.1.7, which has several vulnerabilities.
Those include CVE-2017-14227, CVE-2018-16790, CVE-2023-0437, CVE-2024-6381, CVE-2024-6383, and CVE-2025-0755.
BSON-XS was the official Perl XS implementation of MongoDB's BSON serialization, but this distribution has reached its end of life as of August 13, 2020 and is no longer supported. |
| Failure to validate the address and size in TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) may allow a malicious x86 attacker to send malformed messages to the graphics mailbox resulting in an overlap of a TMR (Trusted Memory Region) that was previously allocated by the ASP bootloader leading to a potential loss of integrity. |
