CVSS v3.1 |
| Lack of input filterung leads to a persistent XSS vulnerability in the user avatar text handling of the Easy Discuss component for Joomla. |
| No description is available for this CVE. |
| A flaw was found in xfig. This vulnerability allows possible code execution via local input manipulation via bezier_spline function. |
| A vulnerability was found in Undertow where the ProxyProtocolReadListener reuses the same StringBuilder instance across multiple requests. This issue occurs when the parseProxyProtocolV1 method processes multiple requests on the same HTTP connection. As a result, different requests may share the same StringBuilder instance, potentially leading to information leakage between requests or responses. In some cases, a value from a previous request or response may be erroneously reused, which could lead to unintended data exposure. This issue primarily results in errors and connection termination but creates a risk of data leakage in multi-request environments. |
| Catalyst::Authentication::Credential::HTTP versions 1.018 and earlier for Perl generate nonces using the Perl Data::UUID library.
* Data::UUID does not use a strong cryptographic source for generating UUIDs.
* Data::UUID returns v3 UUIDs, which are generated from known information and are unsuitable for security, as per RFC 9562.
* The nonces should be generated from a strong cryptographic source, as per RFC 7616. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tpm2-sessions: Fix out of range indexing in name_size
'name_size' does not have any range checks, and it just directly indexes
with TPM_ALG_ID, which could lead into memory corruption at worst.
Address the issue by only processing known values and returning -EINVAL for
unrecognized values.
Make also 'tpm_buf_append_name' and 'tpm_buf_fill_hmac_session' fallible so
that errors are detected before causing any spurious TPM traffic.
End also the authorization session on failure in both of the functions, as
the session state would be then by definition corrupted. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksm: use range-walk function to jump over holes in scan_get_next_rmap_item
Currently, scan_get_next_rmap_item() walks every page address in a VMA to
locate mergeable pages. This becomes highly inefficient when scanning
large virtual memory areas that contain mostly unmapped regions, causing
ksmd to use large amount of cpu without deduplicating much pages.
This patch replaces the per-address lookup with a range walk using
walk_page_range(). The range walker allows KSM to skip over entire
unmapped holes in a VMA, avoiding unnecessary lookups. This problem was
previously discussed in [1].
Consider the following test program which creates a 32 TiB mapping in the
virtual address space but only populates a single page:
#include <unistd.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <sys/mman.h>
/* 32 TiB */
const size_t size = 32ul * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024;
int main() {
char *area = mmap(NULL, size, PROT_READ | PROT_WRITE,
MAP_NORESERVE | MAP_PRIVATE | MAP_ANON, -1, 0);
if (area == MAP_FAILED) {
perror("mmap() failed\n");
return -1;
}
/* Populate a single page such that we get an anon_vma. */
*area = 0;
/* Enable KSM. */
madvise(area, size, MADV_MERGEABLE);
pause();
return 0;
}
$ ./ksm-sparse &
$ echo 1 > /sys/kernel/mm/ksm/run
Without this patch ksmd uses 100% of the cpu for a long time (more then 1
hour in my test machine) scanning all the 32 TiB virtual address space
that contain only one mapped page. This makes ksmd essentially deadlocked
not able to deduplicate anything of value. With this patch ksmd walks
only the one mapped page and skips the rest of the 32 TiB virtual address
space, making the scan fast using little cpu. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tls: Use __sk_dst_get() and dst_dev_rcu() in get_netdev_for_sock().
get_netdev_for_sock() is called during setsockopt(),
so not under RCU.
Using sk_dst_get(sk)->dev could trigger UAF.
Let's use __sk_dst_get() and dst_dev_rcu().
Note that the only ->ndo_sk_get_lower_dev() user is
bond_sk_get_lower_dev(), which uses RCU. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
riscv: uprobes: Add missing fence.i after building the XOL buffer
The XOL (execute out-of-line) buffer is used to single-step the
replaced instruction(s) for uprobes. The RISC-V port was missing a
proper fence.i (i$ flushing) after constructing the XOL buffer, which
can result in incorrect execution of stale/broken instructions.
This was found running the BPF selftests "test_progs:
uprobe_autoattach, attach_probe" on the Spacemit K1/X60, where the
uprobes tests randomly blew up. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs: Fix uninitialized 'offp' in statmount_string()
In statmount_string(), most flags assign an output offset pointer (offp)
which is later updated with the string offset. However, the
STATMOUNT_MNT_UIDMAP and STATMOUNT_MNT_GIDMAP cases directly set the
struct fields instead of using offp. This leaves offp uninitialized,
leading to a possible uninitialized dereference when *offp is updated.
Fix it by assigning offp for UIDMAP and GIDMAP as well, keeping the code
path consistent. |

| GravCMS 1.10.7 contains an unauthenticated vulnerability that allows remote attackers to write arbitrary YAML configuration and execute PHP code through the scheduler endpoint. Attackers can exploit the admin-nonce parameter to inject base64-encoded payloads and create malicious custom jobs with system command execution. |
| Grocery Crud 1.6.4 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the order_by parameter that allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries. Attackers can inject malicious SQL code through the order_by[] parameter in POST requests to the ajax_list endpoint to potentially extract or modify database information. |
| WibuKey Runtime 6.51 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the WkSvW32.exe service that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in 'C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\WIBUKEY\SERVER\WkSvW32.exe' to inject malicious executables and escalate privileges. |
| Disk Sorter Enterprise 13.6.12 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in its Windows service configuration that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in 'C:\Program Files\Disk Sorter Enterprise\bin\disksrs.exe' to inject malicious executables and escalate privileges. |
